240 no start...again 200 1983

this morning, about halfway up the driveway headed to work, the 240 bucked a couple times then stalled out. no re-start. i had time to check the spark plugs; they were dry. couldn't check for spark. this afternoon when i got home from work, it started, then died out almost immediately and wouldn't re-start. just cranking. fuses are good. it seems that i can't go 2 weeks without this car leaving me stranded. if anyone has any ideas for what is wrong THIS TIME (owned it since september, replaced distributor, ignition coil, full tune-up, new clutch, new fuel pump relays, and about 5 times stuck in my driveway or on the side of the road) i'd appreciate it.
