Whenever I hit a sharp bump in the 240, the automatic gear selector pops pretty harshly(sharp "pop" noise). I replaced the trans mount last summer, and just did the motor mounts. It almost sounds like the driveshaft rubs up against the shifter linkage, but I can find NO evidence of that under the car. Everythings tight, no slop in the linkage or driveshaft. You can feel it when you put your hand on the shifter and hit a bump. Definately something hitting where it shouldnt be, but I can't figure it out. Spent some time searching in these forums but no luck so far...Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks
