Mystery brown wire 120-130

I have a mystery wire in boot of 66 122s 2 door.

Brown wire inside main harness cover leading from back seat area into trunk.

It ends at tail left light connector, it appears to have soldered/tinned end and is long enough to go into the empty slot in connector.

I don't find it in wiring diagrams.

Where is the other end and what was it there for?
