Hi all,

Just thought I'd share this story.

In November, we bought a maroon '95 940 wagon. It was our 5th red block Volvo: we've owned 3 240s, and our son drives a seemingly indestructible '83 wagon with 300K on it.

We loved this car. Two months later, a (probably texting) driver sailed through a stop sign. No injuries, but both cars were totaled.

So I started looking for a replacement. Last week, through a friend of a friend, I bought a '94 wagon, also maroon, for $500.00! 240K, runs perfectly, very nice leather interior, straight body, frosty cold AC.

Why $500.00? Bad heater core. I've got it bypassed for the moment. So I've got an ugly project on the horizon, but I can handle it 8-)
