Rear Wheel Bearing Failing? 900 1993

OK, been chasing a noise that seemed like it was squealing rear brakes, cleaned them up, made sure shims had anti-squeal stuff on them, etc. Discs are relatively fresh and do not seem warped. Overall, the car stops great, but after driving a while the squealing noise, sort of like a brake squeal, but maybe with a deeper pitch and higher vibration level than typical brake squeal comes back. Also note that it is intermittant, comes and goes.

So, last night while training #2 daughter on driving fundamentals, I noticed that when making some left hand turns the squeal got way louder. I started thinking right rear wheel bearing. No grease is obviously leaking or leaked out. Can these things dry out and make this kind of squeal once warmed up? Any thoughts as always are appreciated.

Mike
