follow up about fuel injection 120-130

i posted a question earlier about whether replacing a set of su carbs with a fuel injection system from a 240 would be a good move in terms of fuel economy and performance. there were a lot of responses which went into detail about megasquirt, which sounds neat, but which is technically way beyond me. what i was originally wondering though is whether you can swap the entire fuel injection system (injectors/throttle/computer/etc) from a 240 into a 122. has anyone done that, and if so, what were the results?
