odd noises coming from my 960... 900 1994

Lately i've been hearing some strange noises coming from my 1994 960. Whats going on is first, the steering wheel makes a kind of grinding noise when shaking the wheel left and right at a stop. Another thing going on is when pressing the brake pedal it squeeks!!! I have no idea whats squeeking all i know is both noises are definetly coming from inside the car. Help!!
