I've recently purchase a 1991 244 with 116K. The car has been well maintained, but it doesn't appear to have had the automatic transmission flushed anytime in its recent history. I'd like to try the flush procedure detailed on the i.p.d. website. Are there are reasons to think that's not a good idea for a vehicle of this vintage and at this relatively low mileage.
