Hey guys--my 1992 Volvo 240 stopped running this morning while I was stopped at a stop sign. It wouldn't restart. Had to have the darn thing towed home.

The engine cranks but won't start. I've checked the timing belt: it's worn but in tact. I've put my ear near the gas filler cap while my wife turned on the ignition and I can hear the fuel pump whir.

I'm at a loss. A guy at IPD said to check various sensors: oxygen sensor, crank speed sensor.

Any thoughts?
