broken alternator adjustment bolt... 200 1992

Just broke the long skinny bolt that adjusts tension on the alternator. the dealership wants to charge $36 for the whole assembly (which wont be here untill the end of next week) and there are no auto yards in Houston that have this part. we are to leave for vacation tomorrow :( any quick fix ideas --changed out the belts and the two to the alternator are still alittle loose and squeel every time I press on the gas.
