hi sages- keep hearing about this mann oil filter. never heard of it. want touse a good oil filter on my b230 92 volvo 240. planning to use regular 10/30 oil . have used that for oil changes for 40 years and if the engine is burning oil then 30wt. have had no problems with that oil but it was in american cars, mostly 6 and v8 dodges. used oil filters in them from fram, purolator , hastings and havent noticed any differences or problems. some of them have anti drain back valves, but given the position(half upside down) in the volvo , it shouldnt make any difference. usually changed oil/filter at 4k miles. usually bought filters when they were on sale from big lot stores. anything peculiar about the 240 volvos needs? thanks tons oldduke.
