240, fix or not and parts 200 1989

I have a 1990 volvo 240 wagon and we love it - 195,000 and still going strong : ) I'm second owner and on my 14th year.

I have a 1989 volvo wagon that I'm debating what to do. There is no structural rust, except alittle on the bottom of the sides - but a local old volvo expert in university town says it is good. Here are the repairs: 1. tailgate has rust and need to replace. Where can i get a cheap one?

2. The handle on the driver's side front and drivers side rear are broken (one i lost : )) and i need to replace. my repair guy says not to get generic new but order a used real vovlo one off of internet - where? what site? cost?

3. The car needs 900 worth of work: oxygen air sensor and board, plugs, fuel pressure regulator, and some hoses.

The tailgate and doors and this work will equal around $1500. The car has 170,000 and i've owned it 3 years. It's had alot of work (2 owners and I bought from mechanic who liked it) and I'm inclined to keep it but it is starting to ding me and i'm not handy. Do people still buy these?
