Do I have to remove the heat shield in order to get the OEM hitch to mount properly? The instructions say to "fold" the heat shield aside. Ya, right. It looks to me like the only way I'm going to get the hitch to fit is if I cut or remove the heat shield. Is it a problem if I just remove it entirely?
