Exhaust resonance @3000rpm 900

I've got 2 '95 940s. One's really quiet (215m mi), the other (124m) has an exhaust resonance at 3000 rpm and above. 2 shops have checked the exhaust system and can't find any leaks. I thought it might be the flange gasket so I replaced it. The resonance is still there. I've checked everything I can think of but no luck. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
