blower motor kaput? 900

Wife's 94- wagon, 157000 miles, had AC operating fan stopped. Rev'd FAQS and archives.
Things checked to date: checked fuse 16, looked ok replaced with good one, no change. No signs of melting or over heating. With ignition on, have power to resistor on motor. Have replaced motor w JU unit, does not spin. How does one check the resistor? How does one replace same?
