I visited 2 "pick and pull" yards in the sacramento ca area today.
I spotted 5 nissen plastic/aluminum raditors, all in good shape, one pratically brand new. On all of these radiators, the metal piece across the top had been cut through front to back, with something like a sawzall. I couldnt ascertain if the cut went through any of the cooling passages(didnt look like it). The cut did go through the top row of cooling fins on at least one of the rads. Whats with this? Saboaoge? Or something you engineers have figured out that Im not aware of and achieves more efficiency, or something. Or is this just plain ole jealousy based sabotage?
I also encountered radiators made from several different countrys around the world. But when I saw the nissens my heart skipped a beat, until I saw the cut.
Are any of those other aftermarket radiators any good?
somebody help me out here, please.
