Leaking Heater Core 900

I have a 1993 940 non turbo SW with air(manual) Steam started coming from the interior vents and coolant leaked on the passenger floor. The problem is I don't have time to replace right now. I tried a stop leak product that didn't work. Don't throw me off brickboard for that!! My question, Can I isolate the heater core so I can buy some time? I really don't want to pay to have this done. Thanks Matt
