240 1991 brakes 200

So far so good until I reached the left rear brake. Pulled the old rotor and caliper off and as I rotated the axle, I am hearing a ticking sound and coming from the wheel bearing. So I pulled the axle out to examine the roller bearing and it seems okay. At least nothing stands out that it is bad. I did find a little bit of nicks on the outer rim of the bearing race but not serious.

So is this normal?
how do axle bearings sound if their bad?

Second thing is, The left rear caliper seems to be very slow to push out on the outside piston and the inside piston takes about to pumps to come out. When the brake is released neither seems to brake free to retract.

So is this signs of a caliper that is hanging up?
Should I be looking at trying to do a rebuild kit on it or just get a new caliper exchange?
Any thoughts for recommended brand caliper?

Thanks
JW
