91 240 driveline shudder 200

Hi all,

I was reading on the 940 posts about shimming the center support bracket to alleviate the problem of driveline shudder upon initial acceleration. When I went out to perform the same operation on my 240, i found that the center support bearing is not able to be shimmed. I could however, shim up the trans support to achieve the same effect? Any one have some input on this problem? I have replaced all of the usual suspect components....just a note...I have installed a 940 trans in this 240 (realized that the tailshafts are different when I went in to change the tailshaft bushing per another brickboard tip and found that the 940 tailshaft is fitted with a bearing not a bushing)

Thank you,

Mark...240 wagon and a small fleet of 850's...
