Last night the car died once after being parked for a while but restarted and got me home. This morning it fired briefly but then died and wouldn't restart. There seems to be fuel supply but I checked with an inductive timing gun and didn't see any sign of spark. It has always been hard to start cold which I sort of attributed to using a coil with internal resistor instead of the external ballast resistor, but this seems to be something different. I'd appreciate suggestions for troubleshooting the ignition, maybe control module, maybe hall sensor, maybe whatever? I've already checked connections, grounds and such. Thanks to all.
