Cruising here and there, dirt country roads and big old highway, haven't worked out the milage but it seemed good. Driving hard in the heat of the day, temp was stable, the new core in my rad has really helped that, I used to get temp spikes after hard runs when stuck in traffic, now it just sits there like my 240 used to. Only down side is the rear springs...when loaded with 5 passengers at highway speeds I found the front a little light, usually I like the spring rate, so I guess if i want to finesse this I will need to get air bags to augment lift. Really just wanted to post this to remind us all that these old cars are the ultimate in reliable practical classics..and they don't mind being worked hard.
