electrical glitch? 900 1996

On the hwy this morning….on the way to work I had been driving about an hour. I pushed in the AC button to turn the air off. Thought maybe I didn’t need it. Well I decided that I did and turned it back on. When I pushed in the button, the radio lost power for a couple of seconds and then came back on. I turned the AC on a and off a couple of times and the same thing happened.

So I turned off the air and drove the rest of the way without it.

When I got to my exit, I veered onto the exit ramp and tapped the break to turn off the cruise control……. when I tapped the brake, the radio lost power for a couple of seconds and then came back on. When I braked and stopped at the stoplight, the same thing happened. At the next stoplight, it didn’t happen. When I stopped off at the dealers, we couldn’t get it to do it again.

what would be the connection between power to the brake, the AC and the radio?

If there was a short loss of power to the engine during that short interruption, I didn’t notice it. The engine appeared to be running smoothly.
