a/c schrader valve

The schrader valve where the high pressure switch screws in is leaking.
This is a thin black line running along the frame on the passenger side. There is a 'Y' split - one goes to the high pressure switch and the other to the evaporator.
I tried to unscrew it for replacement using the tire valve core remover. It unscrewed to a large extend but does not want to come out any more. Looks like it keeps spinning. Anyone know if this is replaceable or the line needs to be changed now?
