Every light in the house is on 200 1990

Had a friend rewire the tailgate so that the wires come out of the D pillar and right into the tail gate. Great execution but we some how got confused (Volvo ran three yellow wires to the tail gate!) and got almost everything wired wrong.

As a result I had 4 fuses blow 1 catch fire (that was quite exciting!) and now all of the warning light are on!

I straightened out the wiring and the tailgate now works perfectly, yet all of the lights in the house are still on.

Anyone else experienced this before?
