740 turbo no start at times 700

I have a 91 740 turbo, it will not start at times, the dash lights come on but the starter will not engauge, however in about 15 minits it starts fine and will work for about 6 weeks with no problem. I have tried to check the neutral safety switch, but it made no differance. Any help???
