Can't get exhaust manifold to seal up 200 1993

I replaced the manifold gaskets a few weeks ago. I still have a pretty good exhaust leak at the backside of the front and back cylinders. I work at a machine shop. Would it help to take the entire manifold into work and put it on the belt sander (gently) to try to square everything up?
