Warped Front Rotors 900

The comments I read on the internet range from a 42 year mechanic who says emphatically that he never saw a warped rotor. And he is rather persuasive, to those who caution against over tight wheel nuts as a cause of warped rotors. The rotors look pretty strong and I'm inclined to the former opinion.

Of course, I have a very pronounced shudder/judder in my front end that can be felt profoundly in the steering wheel every time I brake. And the frequency of the throbbing seems to coincide with the revolutions of the wheel. This points to rotor or caliper problems, but more so to rotor because of the regularity of the throbbing.

Rotors are cheap, but getting them takes time, so I am probably going to get both front rotors turned tomorrow.

What are the opinions of the brickboard on warped rotors. I have completed restoring the stay rods with polyurethane cone bushings from IPD. I thought that would cure the problem, as the originals were almost disappeared, but that had no effect. I rebuilt both front calipers using the original pads, which looked like new, but that had no effect. I did nothing with the rotors, except put them back in place. Thus, I'm left with considering the rotors are bad, or something else is the cause. The same throbbing occurs with different tires, so I've ruled out balancing.
