I've finally signed up to the Brickboard - what an incredible group of Volvo folks!

So impressed by the helpfulness, enthusiasm, expertise - and passion for these wonderful cars.

Given my long-standing love of Volvos (Amazons in particular), I am a bit ashamed I have not joined the group until now. But life is short - and you folks are tapped into what makes life and community great. I read the note about the shop going out of business due to health and it almost broke my heart.

I am nuts about all the pre-'73 cars in general. Simple to work on, great performance, understated elegance, solid, cheap to run, fun and safe.

But you can add me to the long, long list of folks who lust after the 123GT - the Holy Grail.
So tough and cute at the same time. Love them. Saw, heard and smelled a real one as a kid and that was it. Keep those long, in-depth GT threads coming!
