98 S90 AC just up and quit! S90-V90

My AC just went warm on a drive yesterday. 1998 S90. So today I bought some refrigerent and looked to charge the system. The pressure was way in the red! Strange! So not knowing the Volvo system I started releasing the pressure, blowing the stuff out. I then recharged the system back into the red. Still no cold air. I'm not mechanically inclined. Anyone have any easy fixes that I can do? It's Labor Day tomorrow so my Volvo guy wont be there. I need the car for a trip on Tuesday. I live in Florida! Help!!!
