Just was wondering if anyone knew of a reason why when I shut my hood (did this on three seperate occasions).. my car dies immediately, like someone turned off the key. Thinking ground connections on inside of fender possibly?? I DID have a loose positive battery cable screw, which has multiple other wires under it... and it was a LITTLE loose. Sometimes I will start it and it runs VERY rough! Sometimes, runs clean as a whistle when I start it. No obvious pattern. The post just before this one stated that he had a feeling of lost power when trying to back up, and I have noticed that same thing in my car. Just seems to not be rolling freely when driving too, almost feels like it is working TOO hard to move, almost like the emergendy brakes are on, but they are not.
1) What would cause a car to die when the hood is shut (dies instantly)?
2) Cranking rough start sporadically. (vacuum lines??)
3) movement resistance, just seems I am having to step on gas harder to move forward....
thanks..
