cranks, no start 900

It's been running well, no issues, starts quickly, idles evenly, runs pretty strong.
Came out of work and it cranked normally but no start, no spit, no nuthin'. Did that 3x, then swapped rsr, no change. put a screwdriver up a plug wire and the shaft next to but not touching some metal, to see if it sparked; turned key and it started immediately on the three cyls and there was spark from the wire. Shut it down, reassembled, and it started fine again and ran well.
The only other thing I did at all, was touch the power stage surface to see if it was warm or exhibited anything. Nothing doing, but that was the only other thing I did.
Drove home, shut down, it started again immediately like always.
