There are valid reasons NOT to store an extra ignition key on the outside of ones’ brick, tho I would still like to do so for “emergencies”.
Using a magnetic box is typical, and “hiding” it under a wheel well is typical. Also typical to hide it inside the gas fill “well”. Where could one hide a key on the outside of an ‘89 brick (wagon) that’s actually easy to get to in that “emergency” but a “tentative thief ” might not think easily to look?
Not sure a car thief would really want to rip off a 22 year old Volvo brick tho. I have a feeling any “good” place to hide a key would have to be hard to get at for me. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
