86 244 new trans now no start 200 1986

so i have an 86 244 auto trans it had no reverse so i put a new trans in it. Now it wont start but the thing is that it cranks and has spark i used noid light to see if injectors were firing and they are. pulled plugs they are soaked in gas but like i said it has spark also i read on another forum could be knock or idle control valve need help
