My antenna broke and won't come up anymore. There was one time where it didn't work for a few days and then randomly started working again. When I turn on my car or put the key to the radio position, there is no noise at all from the motor. I took out some of the paneling to see if maybe something was loose. I am not sure if I need to replace the motor and would hate to waste 200 if I don't need to. After looking online though, it seems that if it makes no noise the motor is the problem. I looked at the forums on here and there are a ton and I am not sure which ones apply to me. I did disconnect the motor and shook it to see if anything rattled indicating an obvious break. That's about the extent of my mechanical ability....as of yet. :) Hoping to maybe fix it myself. I am a TOTAL newb to DIY projects so any help would be awesome.
