I am trying to find some ways to make my 1994 960 have a nicer exhaust note and possibly increase performance a bit as well. I hear these engines really "wake up" when the exhaust is flowing more freely. Anyway, my plan is to remove the center muffler and replace it with either A.) a straight pipe to some sort of magnaflow or flowmaster in place of the rear muffler or B.) keep the center muffler and delete the rear one all together. What do you guys think? I dont want the car to sound like a rice rocket just want a nice deep tone to it instead.
