Catalytic converter 700

Seems to be a lot of Nox failures in the threads for 740's mine included.
I failed even with a new converter (Walker 15633)
It strikes me that the cat on these cars is very small, compared to others. Could it be undersized, and is there a better performer than this Walker model?
