940 Turbo wagon head gasket blew 900 1994

So that's the easy part. 2 simple questions. from front to back cylinders are 1 2 3 4? and on the distributor cap, from left to right it's 4 3 1 2? ok 1 more, is it possible to install the distributor 180 degrees wrong? or does it only go in the one right way? After milling and pressure testing the head, and putting it all back together, it really acts like it's out of time.
