My R12 system needs a boost. Compressor engages but there are bubbles in the site glass on dryer. No cool air. Right off the side hose on the dryer is a black cap with Volvo part number. I unscrewed it to find a o ring seal to it. Looks like I got some small leaking coming from this is fill port at the center pin. But the cap must add extra leak protection with the o ring, so I think I will be ok for awhile after the recharge.

So, the ? is, the port under the cap is not typical R12 fitting. How to fill? Use S port on back of compressor? I got a guy to fill with R12 for $70. I want to make sure he can do it b/c I don't think he would have a Volvo adaptor for this volvo fitting.
