Water leak, drivers side footwell, 92 245 (your thoughts?) 200 1992

Hello all, I pulled out the carpet ,pads, and seats today to get an idea of what is happening. I did not have time to do a CSI investigation on the problem today, but the initial look was something I did not expect.

I thought the leak would be coming from the left, maybe the rocker panel, hood release cable, drivers side wiper arm, or the recentley mentioned rusting seams.

But the stain pattern shows the leak coming from the right, down the transmission hump. You can rule out a plugged A/C drain, because it's been flat for years.

Give me your thoughts on what my possible causes may be.
