OK, been looking around for a back up car for awhile, and stumbled onto a 92 245. Mileage is higher than I want (225k), but seems sound. Evidence of reasonable maintenance over the years, but 2 issues that have me a bit stumped.

1. Neither rear door will open from either outside handle or inside, owner hasn't done anything as rear seats aren't needed. Locks go up and down as do rear door windows. I need operational rear doors, my old 240 Haynes manual doesn't really say much. Any thoughts here? Probably removed inside panel and see what's broke, but it seems odd that it happened to both doors more or less at once.

2. Both speedo and odo are dead, speedo may be electronic like my 93. Do these sensors go out occasionally, my daughter will need a speedo. I guess worst case is I get a used cluster if it's not the sender. Thoughts appreciated.
