RWD vs. FWD and AWD Volvos'

I owned over the years many RWD Volvo’s…240, 740, 940, etc. Most were early and late 1980 models. Not once did I have to replace any of the sensors. CEL was never triggered yet some cars were 20 years old. Then I made a mistake…I got a V70, FWD. Although car drives fine. It spits out CEL codes like there is no tomorrow. I’ve already replaced just about every sensor. Conclusion, in my opinion FWD and AWD Volvo’s are crap compared to those with B230, red block engines. Volvo should have never swayed from their bread & butter models…Sometimes change for the sake of change is a bad thing.
