Removal of Brake Rotor Dust Shield 200 1992

Recently, I tried to salvage two Front Brake Rotor Dust Shields from a 1992 Volvo 240. I was able to easily remove the Brake Calipers and rotors but was unable to remove the Brake Dust Shields located behind the rotors. The brake assembly is equipped with a Hall effect sensor and toothed sensing gear. Can someone advise me how I can best remove the Brake Dust Shields?

Thanks in advance for any advice that you can provide.
