Want to change my front door speakers - but they are very "thin"

Would love ALPINE or JL 4" speakers but if they are too DEEP will hit glass mechanism

I have seen some specs - 1 5/8 " and 1 1/4 " depth

What is the depth of the original speaker - I don't want any problems or snags

Thanks for suggestions.
