Ok... what can I do with this... My mother owned this car for 7 years before I got it, and she always complained how the floor vents never worked... I found out why today. It is jerry rigged shut... Appearantly the vent selection (which from what I can see seems to work by air pressure itself) does not work... Either I have floor vents and nothing else or I have the upper vents and defrost... so the entire thing... Everything... is stuck open... I pulled out the console, and really can't see much because of the wires to the a/c knob, emergency indicators, etc... any ideas here?
