Newbie with questions 900 1994

I have joined the Brick club with a '94 senior-citizen-owned 940 (1-owner car). Non-turbo, but whatev. The very day I got it the heater valve went! What a fun day that was.

I've got a thick stack of maintenance records, and it is in super shape overall, but of course there are some minor things needing attention.

-Kind of rough idle on a cold start up...goes away with a few throttle blips or when warmed up. The spark plugs and ignition cables look to have been replaced a few months back. What should I be checking out here?

-Loose rubber on the top of the steering wheel - I will try injecting some gorilla glue, but need to find somewhere where I can get a needle for this. Check the methadone clinic? :D

-Small rip in the driver's side floor carpeting, in the corner by the center console near the seat...I can sew(!), so I figure some heavy duty thread can take care of this.

-My leather interior is pretty decent, but could use some invigoration - Lexol or this Leatherique Leather Rejuvenator stuff? (came up in a search)

-Little bits and pieces - missing 3rd brake light cover (interior), one of the map reading light covers, one cracked/chipped tail light - any good source of 'affordable' replacements or check eBay?

LASTLY (thanks for reading thus far), I might be looking at a few things to gain some small power increases, namely the IPD VX camshaft and sport exhaust...which is more worth it? Also, what gives you more bang for the buck regarding sway bars or chassis braces?
