I need to replace the gasket between the header pipe and manifold, but won't get it done for another 2 weeks. I've read various threads on this and plan to get the gasket and 3 flange lock nuts from Volvo as recommended.

I also plan to have my mechanic install the new gasket since with 22 years on the car and 9 winters in NE, I expect it could be a pain to get the old parts off.

Dump question of the day - Other than reduced performance and less gas mileage, is there any reason not to drive the car for the next 2 weeks until I get this fixed?
