When replacing my pads recently, I noticed that the outer piston seals were all but falling apart. It's a 244 with Girling 4 pistons per caliper setup.
Now that I've got the new seals kit, I could pull the piston out and replace the seals on the piston.
Two things:
It looks like it's a pain in the neck to do.
Are the inner seals probably just as bad as the outers? Is it more a time issue or a weathering issue? Seems like weathering to me from the brittleness and dryness.
Given those two things, I'm happy to say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." What do you think? Are the inner seals broke? Should I replace them?
Happy Bricking!
