1986 744 Turbo Overdrive Stuck 700

Hi All,

After sever months I have finally gotten a new transmission for my 1986 744 Turbo. I need to change the bell housing and overdrive unit from my old trans to the new one as the new one came from a 240 Diesel. Bell housing has been no problem, but the overdrive assembly is stuck to the trans that came out of my 744. I have pulled, tapped with a hammer, and even tried to drive a wedge in between the overdrive and the gearbox itself until I was afraid of breaking the housing. I could only get the OD to pull mayeb an inch from the gearbox. I then decided to try to remove just the OD as the 240 trans still has the round housing attached to the trans. I removed all of the 11mm nuts around the OD and tried to pull from there. Same thing. It's like it is stuck to the shaft. I removed the pressure release plug, even the cover and filter from the OD. Nothing. I cannot get it off. If anyone has any advice, I am willing to try anything.
