I'm getting an '89 245 roadworthy for my sister. It has passed the safety and emissions (but near max on HCs). The On Board Diagnostics isn't putting out codes other than 1-1-1.
It starts up fine, however when warmed up and idling, the engine stumbles maybe a couple of times a minute. But the computer prevents a stall and bumps the revs back up to about 800rpm. It hasn't stalled even when idled for more than 15 minutes.
I'm not familiar with fuel injection (computerized or mechanical). Is this normal or does something need to be fixed/adjusted?
