Left Rear Blinker blinking fast and tail light not working 200 1993

I have a 93 240 wagon just purchased, the left rear blinker is extremely fast and my tail lights are not working when I turn my head lights on. I have cleaned all of the contacts well and still no luck, cheacked the blubs also, any help would be great!
